Jake Ten Pas

As far back as he can remember, Jake wanted to be a Public Relations professional. He just didn’t know it.
So, Jake started out in the newspaper game, rising from entry level copy editor to award-winning critic and columnist in a few short years. Along the way, he soaked up all that was right and wrong with press releases. He continued his obsessive study of music and movies, cocktails and the culinary arts.
Then, an opportunity presented itself. He moved to Portland and went to work for a prominent PR firm, providing the voice for Loafy, Tillamook Cheese’s jovial spokescheese. He also expanded his freelance contributions to The Oregonian, writing food reviews in addition to the celebrity interviews and music coverage that had been his bread and butter.
Now, as AM:PM PR's Minister of Propaganda, he stands poised to realize his destiny of connecting people with products and services that will make their lives triumphant. As far back as he can remember, Jake wanted to be a Public Relations professional. Now he knows. And knowing is half the battle.
